Girls Mud Wrestling – The Popularity Competing with Men Wrestling
The famous Houston Wrestling promoter Paul Boesch is associated with the invention of mud wrestling, as he came up with the concept for the match when booking a feud between Gus Sonnenberg and Harnam Singh in Seattle, Washington. It first gained popularity in the United States in the 80's, and later expanded all over the world.
Originally performed only in bars, nightclubs, and strip clubs, mud wrestling is now mainstream to the point where organizations have organized mud wrestling events for entertainment and charity.
Women Mud Wrestling
The words "women mud wrestling" speak for themselves – there are women wrestling in a mud pit. However, there is something to provide a titillating effect on the viewers, which are mostly men. As you must have guessed, the participants wear a minimal amount of clothing.
The girls wrestling mud pit is typically a six-foot square sized ring. Some of the wrestling events have participants divided into 3 weight categories – a light, middle and heavy weight class.
Actually, any woman can participate, but most of the wrestlers seem to be the type of a girl one could find as a topless dancer rather than as a mud wrestler. For a match, the two wrestling women wear costumes of similar types, like fantasy costumes. When they enter the wrestling pit, they strip down to their bathing suits. Most often, the loud music is playing in the background.
